No, it is completely free to apply and there is no cost to Finalists to participate in ScaleUP events located in Calgary.

Every company selected as a ScaleUP Finalist receives a comprehensive recognition and development package valued at $5,000. In addition to the package you receive exclusive networking opportunities and visibility as a ScaleUP Finalist as the movement grows across Western Canada.

Use our nomination form to recognize companies who are eligible to apply. We’ll reach out to them on your behalf to encourage them to submit an official application.
Companies must submit an application in order to be considered.

Full applications are due March 20, 2026.

Whether you’ve been nominated or not, you need to submit an application between January 12 and March 2 in order to be considered.
If selected, you will be invited to submit a full application by March 20.
If you are selected as an award finalist, you will be notified on April 7 and invited to the Finalist Reception taking place downtown Calgary on April 30, 2026.
Celebrate and be recognized as an award Finalist at the Gala downtown Calgary on June 10. If you win, you’ll go on stage in front of 350+ attendees.
